"Showers of Blessings" (Original)

"Showers of Blessings" was painted during a difficult time in my life, but also during a time in which I grew closer to the Lord because of that difficult time. My prayers in seeking understanding led me to focusing on more praise, seeing the blessings I currently had and hope for a better future.

"Showers of Blessings" portrays the people lifting their hands in praise of the Lord. The blue hands represent the hands of the angels who also lift their hands in praise of God. The three doves represent the peace in the Trinity of God. This glicleé reproduction was cropped from the original oil painting to fit size requirements. There are three crosses in the upper left of the painting. I wanted the sky to reflect movement to represent showers of blessings that are falling on the people.
